Megan's Bat Mitzvah

This is from the practice Megan did on the Thursday before her Bat Mitzvah.  We weren't able to take pictures in the Temple on the actual day. 

Here is a photo of Megan with the Torah. 

 

Now that the Torah is opened and out, Megan is able to read from it.  She has to use a special pointer because you can't get oils from your skin on the paper. 

 

 

 

Cousin Jennifer made the trip.

Is this not the coolest cake?!  It combines some of Megan's favorite things: Justin Beiber and Karaoke.  There was a karaoke machine at the party and Mr. J was the DJ.

This is the baseball toss.  The canisters are filled with rice to make them harder to knock over!

This was our goldfish toss.  Except they don't sell live goldfish for events like this anymore (animal cruelty) so if the kids got the ball in the bowl, they got a bag of goldfish crackers!!

Bean bag toss

Photobooth.  This was probably THE coolest activity.  Everyone from kids to adults had a great time dressing up and getting their pictures taken.
