While Megan is away, David will play.......with Joelle

We are on fall break right now. A much needed 2 week break from school. It is a wonderful thing. The students are ready for a break and need some space from me and I need some space from them to be able to recharge my batteries and continue to do the best job I can. David and Megan were with us for the first week of the break. Megan decided that she wanted to go to a Tween Zone at the school. Basically an all day "camp" for kids who need babysitting. Some of her friends were going to do the camp and they go on field trips to places like Jumpstreet and Cracker Jaxx. Well, while Megan was away, David had total and complete access to Joelle!! He was wonderful with her, take a look:)

Early in the week it was still warm enough to enjoy the pool. As the week has gone on, there probably won't be any more pool days for us:(


Joelle LOVES to rough house with David. They roll all over the floor and just plain have a great time.


David even taught Joelle how to play some games on the Wii with him. She was able to play the Six Flaggs Amusement Park game. And if I am not mistaken, she may have even beaten him on one of the games:) Sorry David, had to share that!



Going to the park is always a hit! This was our last day together and after we dropped Megan off at her camp, we went to McDonalds and headed to the park to have some fun.
Later that day when Kathlene came to pick up David and Megan, I kept telling Joelle that she wasn't going to see them for a long time and she should give them kisses. Like all toddlers, she wasn't having it. She was too busy trying to play hard to get. They got in the car and we waved goodbye to them. When we were back inside the house, Joelle looked at me and in a very sad, quiet voice said "Where did David and Megan go?" I again explained that they went to their moms house and they would not be back for a long time. She was sad, she loves spending time with her siblings.
