The Little Things in Life

On Friday, several of the students in my class brought birthday treats to school. The cupcakes come with a plastic ring on the top. I brought the ring home to Joelle. I figured she would get a kick out of it. She was so excited to have this ring. I asked her if she liked it. She said she did. Then she turned around, eyes gleaming at the ring like it was made out of gold and said "It make me happy".
