Spring Training 2013

We hit a Dodger game first this year and we were excited to see Tony Lasorda!!  What were the chances that he would be at the game we were at??  Too Cool!

Grandma and Grandpa were given 2 free seats to the game and they were front row!!  The kids enjoyed the view!

Next we went to a Red Socks game and met up with Paul and Judy who happened to be in AZ the same week as my parents!

David got a foul ball:)

And then Megan got a foul ball!!  What are the odds??

Joelle likes going to the Reds games because they have an awesome kids zone where she gets to play a little!

We had a great time visiting with Paul and Judy!  After the game they stopped over at our house for some brown chicken and Steve's famous Bloody Marys!

This year we only hit two ball games.  On Saturday we were planning to go the Angles and Brewers game, but wow, they were completely sold out!  Well, they had $50 seats left but that was all, even the scalpers had nothing!  It was a good thing there were March Madness games to watch so the day still turned out great!

Grand Canyon 2013

On the way to the Grand Canyon, we made a pits top in Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon!  After we left Oak Creek, we headed to Williams for an overnight before going to the Canyon the next day.

Red Rocks!

This is my favorite place in Sedona.  It is so beautiful.  When you go inside you can light candles, so each time I am there I light them for my Grandpa Hess and Grandma Niekamp, this year I lit candles for all my grandparents.

We found snow!!  Joelle was so excited:)

Got some pretty jewelry at Oak Creek Canyon.

How gorgeous is that view!?  This was my first time to the Grand Canyon and it was breath taking!  My parents and the kids (Megan and David) have been to the North Rim, but not the South Rim.

Ready for our Hermit's Rest bus tour.  Thank goodness we took the bus because the stops we made were not accessible by car and we could have never made the walk!  Joelle would have complained non stop!

I loved getting photos of everyone with such a gorgeous background!  When you are at the Grand Canyon you just realize how very small you really are!

\
 Grandpa Bob being VERY silly!

The day we were there was overcast so the pictures lost some of the brilliance!  But is was still a wonderful sight to behold.  I am very glad that I was able to do this with my parents:)  What a great memory for years to come!

Andrew's 50th Party! Happy Birthday Bro!

Andrew had his party at the Sheraton.  The decorations that Monique made were amazing!!  The only brothers that were missing were Peter (his grandson turned 1) and Errol who lives in Jamaica.

The kids clean up VERY well!  They are getting to be so grown up, it makes me feel old:(

Joelle and Skye!

Joelle and Kyliah (Andrew's granddaughter).  They have a lot of fun playing, but once Joelle found out that Grandma Pratt was not going to be at the party, she was sad and just wanted to go to Grandma's house to see her!  I love that she is close to her grandma!

AJ and Carmen

Joelle and her auntie Marie.  She loves playing with her auntie Marie and her auntie Charmaine.  They both spoil her with attention when we are in California.

Here is Steve and Joelle with Allan.

We love that David is basically bigger than his uncle!

What a great couple of kids with their even greater father!
