Sea World San Diego Part 1

Bamboo Sharks!!  They were so cute.  Joelle was not the least bit scared to reach in and pet them.  She said their skin felt like smooth rubber.  

They were cool!  It was so fun to watch her and see how excited and happy she was.  

When Joelle first saw the dolphins she thought they were super cute.  She was excited to be able to pet the dolphin.  She said it felt similar to the bamboo shark, but smoother.  

Belly rub time.  Who knew that dolphins liked belly rubs just like dogs!!  They are so beautiful and graceful as they glide through the water.  

Next up were the Bat Rays.  Joelle was all good with feeling them and petting them and she got right in there, but she was NOT going to feed them.  

Megan on the other had a blast feeding the Bat Rays minnows.  You have to hold it in the water and they come right up and take it out of your hand.  Their mouth is on the bottom of their body so Megan had to reach way down!!

Spring Carnival Fun

Every year the Fulton Spring Carnival gets better and better!   Joelle looks forward to it each year.

Joelle originally said she was not going to do this, but when her friend Jordan wanted to ride, Joelle decided to try it out.  She loved it.  She is so adventurous in some ways and very cautious in others.  I keep pushing her to be the crazy ride kid like I was, but she might not get there!

Holy Tortoise

So our neighbor has a tortoise!  He is about 16 years old.  We went over to meet him and play a little.  He was so cute.  Joelle really wants a tortoise now!!

Last Soccer Game with Hayden

At the end of the soccer season we found out that our coaches were moving back to Washington and that one of Joelle's BFF's was moving to Michigan.  Joelle and Hayden have known each other since they were 2 in the 2's room at Perry for child care.  Joelle sure will miss Hayden.  Luckily one of the other parents has offered to be the coach so at least Joelle could play with some of the same girls.
