Playa Miramar is literally littered with shells!
The water is so clear that you can see the white shells in the picture.
This is my new happy place, the place of tranquility that I will think of and remember when times get stressful.
She started shelling steps away from the pool.
This view is from the 2nd bedroom balcony. The brown structures are the parking area and it just shows how isolated this area is.
Joelle's haul after the first day of shelling!
I was absolutely mesmerized by the waves and how beautiful it was to watch them leisurely roll in.
We found so many shells with slugs and crabs in them, then we found this little guy.
There was so much beauty all around.
Ahhhh, jellyfish! There were a few that washed up on the beach each day.
The tide on this beach is amazing. It seems like you can walk to the end of the earth. We were up early this morning to hunt for shells. There is no shortage, but we still hung out for 2 hours. The low tide is so beautiful. Apparently Playa Miramar has the second largest tide swing in the world! We accidentally brought back several hermit crabs that had to be returned!
