Auntie Monique knows how to plan and throw parties! For Easter she had a big bash at the house and Joelle got to help her get ready for it. They filled around 70 eggs!!
Joelle loves to be helper and had a blast. Megan had the fun job hiding the eggs in the yard. Well for most of them hiding isn't exactly what I would call it, more like out in the open so little kids could find them! We got everything set up and the party began!
There was a bag decorating station where the kids had stickers and foam to stick everywhere on the bag.
Joelle was very proud of her finished product:)
There was even a face painter there. She was awesome and the kids waited in line for a long time to get their faces done. Joelle wouldn't tell me what she wanted, she said it was a secret.
And here she is smiling like a cheshire cat over her secret face!
And you guessed it, she wanted to be a vampire. What is my child's fascination with vampires? At least the lady made her a cutie vampire. I loved the eyelashes, and I guess all that matters is that Joelle was happy.
After an egg hunt that everyone loved because they all got like 8 eggs, Auntie Monique had the kids play some games. This is the "hot potato" game. The kids were so serious about it, it was hysterical to watch. We all had a wonderful time being able to spend the holiday with family and friends.
