Happy 18th Birthday David!

18 years ago today my best friend, my sidekick, my other half, my brother was born. He has been there for me since day 1 even if he did cry when I came home. I have been by his side to be able to see him grow into an awesome brother. He would play with me when we were little. He would go "easy" on me when we'd fight. People say growing up with a brother is hard but I'm here to tell you it's pretty amazing. He has showed me so many things to life that I never knew. He is freaking 18 today and he's moving out soon I have no clue what I'm gonna do without him I'm gonna have no one to annoy. But I'm proud of him for becoming the man that he is. I'd like to say I helped toughen him up. Happy Birthday David you are the best older brother a girl could ask for. I'm gonna even to go as far to say the bestest brother someone could ask for. Love you so much bro. Happy birthday.

Sooo, there is this.....Today is September 3rd 2015 and it's the day of my son's 18th birthday. He has grown up to be the man I always thought he would be. I couldn't be anymore prouder. My sidekick, my baby boy, my prince. I am looking forward to continuing to watch you grow. I will always be here for you. Love you very much....Dad

Conversation at Beyond the Bell
Me: Joelle we have to leave, today is your brother's 18th birthday and he is coming to our house.
Joelle: My brother's a man?
Me: Yes, your brother's a man.
Joelle: (turns to her friend and says in an excited voice) My brother is a man today!!

Wow! The silly, happy-go-lucky, rambunctious little boy that I met 12 years ago is 18!! I have been so blessed to be able to call you my son. Not only did that little boy grow up to be a kind and caring young man but you have also been an AMAZING brother to your sisters (even if they are annoying from time to time)! Happy 18th birthday to the best son I could have ever asked for!!

Luau at Beyond the Bell

Joelle is so lucky that Mr. Andrew runs Fulton's before and after school program.  All year long they have fun parties and activities.  First up, the Luau!!  Joelle was excited to wear her grass skirt for the party!

Chores? No Problem!

She is putting in work like a pro!  I wonder how long this good fortune will last?

Bingo Night!

Fun night at Fulton Family Bingo!  Joelle had never played before and she LOVED it!  On the ride home she said she wanted to play bingo at her birthday party!
