Summer Starts Early in AZ!

So thankful to have a pool and a nice patio area.  We spend so much time out here, yes even when it is 110!  You take a dip in the pool then you air dry.  Air drying keeps you cooler in the heat.

Joelle LOVES the pool.  Now if only we could convince her to get rid of those darn floaties!!

We go through so many pool rafts in a single summer, but it is so worth it!
A little sisterly love:)

Following in Daddy's Footsteps

And just like his father before him, David joins track during his break from football.  He did Shot Put and Discus this year.  He made it to the City Track Meet for both.  It was very cool watching him compete at these events, because  I also did the shot put and the discus.    Brought back memories!

Soccer Time!

This season Joelle ended up playing with a different league.  Her mommy waited to long to sign her up at her old league and they didn't have any spots left!!  So, we joined a new league and she was still very excited to play.

I liked her old league better, but she had a wonderful coach who did a great job and I really think she learned so much.  This league had more kids on the field and a goalie so that was the down side.  But Joelle got to learn how to play goalie and she was good at it!

She learned to be more aggressive this season and really went after the ball.  Luckily, I made sure to sign her up for the other league and she should be on a team with her friend from preschool!

Softball Season

Megan had 2 softball seasons this spring!  She joined a rec league and she also made her Junior High team.  We were very busy!  She pitched and played first and third base for the rec league.  On her school team she played third based and first base.

We did a lot of running around.  Megan had 7 am practice everyday that there wasn't a game for school.  She had 2 school games per week and she had 2 rec games per week along with a practice each week for that!  Whew, I am tired just writing that!  By the end of the season we were all exhausted, Megan included.

Easter!

This year the Easter Bunny hid Joelle's basket really well.  She looked all over the place to find it and finally with a hint or two, she located it's position.

As you can see she was very excited that there were TWO baskets!!

My beautiful girl!  This year the Easter Bunny brought more "toys" and less candy:)

We spent the day with friends and had a wonderful time:)
