The Before Cabinet
I am not totally crazy about the color of the cabinets and I wanted to update the bathroom vanities so this was the perfect guinea pig. The first thing I tried was to stain it, but the door panel must be a veneer and I couldn't get it to take the stain. So, on to plan B- painting it!
A fresh coat of paint and some new hardware and it is good as new. I still don't know if I will paint the vanities... to much of a chance for water and product damage! I think I may try the stain again, only this time I will sand the wood until I KNOW there is nothing left of the finish. The door panels I will use some heavy duty remover on.
