Joelle's First Bike!

Joelle came running into my bedroom this afternoon and was very excited that Daddy had gotten her a bike!  With Stars on it!  Joelle immediately went outside and began riding her new bike.  The first ride around the cul-du-sac was stop and go and stop.  She was apparently making sure the brakes on the bike worked.  By the second go around, she was a pro!  

Missing in Action

Well, that has been me lately.  After the holidays I guess I was just blogged out!  It also didn't help that Steve got me a Kindle Fire for my birthday!!  Anyway, here is a cute little conversation that Joelle had with us in the car on the way home from school today.  Joelle:  What are some animals that can fly? (as she sits in her car seat flapping her hands at her side)
Megan: A hawk
Joelle:  That's very good Megan.  (Megan and I hold in our laughter)
Joelle:  What is another animal that can fly?
